HOLLYWOOD – While many parents and kids are eagerly awaiting the theatrical release of Inside Out 2, the sequel to the Disney Pixar smash animated hit, Inside Out, a small group of critics have become violently vocal about their disdain for the new film.

The film is a direct sequel which follows the story of Joy, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, the four emotions of a girl named Riley as she navigates the ups, downs, and twists and turns of life. Inside Out 2 takes place a few years after the original where Riley is now a teenager and a new group of emotions are introduced, Envy, Ennui (boredom), Embarrassment, and Anxiety.

“This film is a disgusting piece of woke trash,” said Cletus Cunningham, a single, fatherless blogger. “The Hollywood elite have a vendetta to poison our kids’ brains by making them think it’s okay to have feelings and to express them rather than bury them deep down inside themselves in a place where they’ll never be found, like a real American.”

“I definitely won’t be taking my kids to see this disgusting excuse of a movie,” said Sarah Donaldson, a tired stay at home mother of eight. “All those emotions are different colors. You know what else has colors? Rainbows. This movie is nothing more than a part of the liberal agenda to turn my kids into a gay.”

Although these critics have been loud, the box office appears to be a little bit louder. Inside Out 2 opened to a preview screening this Thursday, grossing $13 million and scoring a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“The sequel to Inside Out is terrific, smartly navigating the rough terrain that is puberty to showcase its beloved foundational emotions while introducing a new roster of well-developed characters,” said Karen Gordon, via Original Sin.

“The latest Pixar sequel will turn you “Inside Out” with feelings,” said Linda Cook, via WHBF-TV.

Despite the overwhelming success of the movie’s preview night and the forecasted success of the film this summer blockbuster season, the critics are not prepared to let up on their holy mission to destroy the happiness of anyone who wants to live their life according to a different set of values.

“The book of Timothy says, ‘I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain silent,'” said Cunningham. “So, the fact this so-called entertainment company is using a female protagonist to try and teach our young men how to think and express their feelings is downright unholy. It’s a sin.”

Many of these critics have become so disillusioned in their passion toward boycotting this film that they’ve sent out a call for protest on social media, asking anyone willing to take up their cause to meet at their local cinema to harass anyone who goes to see the movie.

“I won’t yell at the children because they don’t understand how they’re being brainwashed by libtards,” said Kathy Wallace, a concerned local woman. “But I will talk sternly to them in order to let them know how idiotic and sinful their parents are for allowing them to live a life of such loose moral standards and feelings.”

So far, this call to action has yielded tens of responses and is expected to be about as uneventful as that one time the single resident of Monowi, Nebraska said something.

Anyway, Inside Out 2 is out now for all your immoral heathens to watch if you want to.
